Progress Lifeline is a 24-hour response service enabling older, disabled and vulnerable people to live independently within the community. </p>\r\n<p>You will be part of a rota of 7 days on call Monday to Sunday.  Each shift is 12 hours long. This will include weekends and Bank Holiday’s.</p>\r\n<p>As an emergency home responder you will assess and establish the nature of the emergency and provide the necessary support for the customer. At all times you must offer reassurance and make our customers as comfortable as possible. You will also receive training to enable the moving and handing of customers who have fallen, perform risk assessments and when required lift customers from an uninjured fall using specialist lifting equipment.</p>\r\n<p>Our teams are made up of a variety of people with different backgrounds and previous experience.
