We are excited to advertise a new permanent position for a Beauty teacher to deliver this fantastic programme to our creative and inspirational Level 1 and 2 students. This course will cover a variety of subjects which include, manicures, pedicures, skincare, waxing and massage.
\r\nYou must be confident, enthusiastic individual that can demonstrate real passion in delivering purposeful and practical lessons whilst recognising individuals’ talent.
\r\nThis a permanent, part time role of 18.5 hours per week (0.50 FTE) based at our Bracknell and Wokingham campus. Travel to other campuses may be required at times.
\r\nWhat do you need to be successful in this role?
\r\nSuccessful candidates will have an appropriate professional qualification or experience within Beauty Therapy, to include facial electrical. Assessor award would be desirable. Whilst we would prefer applications from qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, we would consider applications from unqualified applicants, with the ability to inspire our learners and a willingness to complete a teaching qualification. Unqualified candidates would start at a lower salary point and this could be discussed at interview, if successfully shortlisted.
In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will have an open mindset and attitude towards technology and virtual learning tools. Along with current Maths and English skills, you will also demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
