If you are determined to make Babington Safe and Sound for all and be an integral part of Babington’s journey of <strong>Developing Better Futures</strong>, then we want to hear from you!</p>\r\n<p><strong>Summary of role</strong></p>\r\n<p>The Quality Partnerships manager will manage, drive and support quality improvement within devolved nations.</p>\r\n<p><strong>Brief summary of principle accountabilities</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Design, implement and continuously review the Devolved Quality Improvement Strategy, self-assessment, and improvement planning processes in preparation for inspections and reviews.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Ensure robust assessment, verification processes and adherences are in place that are compliant with the relevant devolved awarding and governing bodies.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Support, develop and mentor members of the team that contribute to the Quality Improvement Strategy.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Ensure the subcontracted quality assurance requirements are met to uphold the DofE/ NI Direct (Northern Ireland) requirements. </li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Conversant with Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework and Skills Development Scotland’s (SDS) Quality Assurance and Improvement Framework ensuring these standards are fully embedded with all delivery and programme development.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Conversant with the Education & Training Foundation Professional Standards for teachers and trainers.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Champion the Education & Training Foundation Professional Standards for teachers and trainers across operational delivery to support and inspire professional learning and career development of Babington’s practitioners.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Support the Head of Quality and Head of Delivery (Devolved Nations) with appropriate provisions to enable the driving of success and progression rates and ensure there are proficient in-service standards in place.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Work closely with the Heads of Delivery and Partnership Performance Managers to ensure they are proficient in-service standards in place.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Work with People and Talent in the management of performance regarding teaching quality and learner interaction, both identifying best practice and high performing talent within the business as well as any performance concerns. </li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Brief person specification</strong> <em>Essential <strong>(E)</strong> Desirable <strong>(D)</strong></em></p>\r\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent <strong>(E)</strong></li>\r\n<li>Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training (or equivalent) teaching qualification or equivalent <strong>(E)</strong></li>\r\n<li>Level 4 Certificate in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice <strong>(D)</strong></li>\r\n<li>Level 3 Coaching & Mentoring qualification<strong> (D)</strong></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Skills and experience </strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Conversant with Ofsted Education Inspection Framework ensuring these standards are fully embedded with all delivery and programme development</li>\r\n<li>Experience of delivering good or better Apprenticeship/work-based learning outcomes within the last two years</li>\r\n<li>Experience of quality assuring a range of assessment methods including on and offline assessment using e-portfolios and online/on demand testing.</li>\r\n<li>Experience of Data/MI analysis linked to business improvement.</li>\r\n<li>Experience of leading face to face and remote observations and making judgments in line with the standards identified in the current Education Inspection Framework.</li>\r\n<li>Experience of Quality improvement techniques and cycle.</li>\r\n<li>Experience of leading within a continuously evolving environment.</li>\r\n<li>Take a calm evidence-based approach to observations providing clear feedback and supporting others to improve their delivery standards.</li>\r\n<li>Experience of conducting internal quality assurance of Financial Services portfolios.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><strong>Babington Benefits </strong></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>My Babington Rewards</li>\r\n<li>Bupa Healthcare Plan</li>\r\n<li>25 Days annual leave plus Bank holidays</li>\r\n<li>Additional annual leave purchase scheme</li>\r\n<li>Employer Pension contribution</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p><em>We’ll be conducting interviews on a continuous basis and reserve the right to take down the advert when we have found the right candidate.</em></p>\r\n<p><em>Babington is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners and employees associated with our business.
